Strategic Sponsor Support
The roles of sponsors are quite important for the operation of any J-REIT. In line with this, Japan Logistics Fund, Inc. (JLF) has built a strong relationship with each of its sponsors, Mitsui & Co., Ltd., The Chuo Mitsui Trust and Banking Co., Ltd. ("CMTB"), and Kenedix Inc. ("KDX").
Mitsui & Co., Ltd. has a 51% stake and provides strong capabilities in the logistics business sector. On the other hand, CMTB, a 29% shareholder, conveys benefits to JLF through its experience in the financial markets. Finally, KDX, a 20% shareholder, is expected to provide JLF with a variety of information on the real estate business market.
